Ice Cream Social 2010
On Wednesday, June 9, NGA supporters and volunteers gathered in the North & Southampton Reformed Church auditorium for their annual ice cream social. This year's theme was "Down on the Farm," so attendees were encouraged to dress appropriately.
Our ice cream social wouldn't be complete without a mini-auction, and our auction wouldn't be complete without ladies in bikinis, so we had some special models show off their summer beach attire.
New this year was the song-writing competition, creating NGA songs to the tune of Old MacDonald. And guess who won? The Castle Girls! We also played Pin the Tail on the Pig, and had a demonstration of Milky the Cow by AnneMarie and Jim. This vintage cow toy is milk-able and moos!
